Green River College’s student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical, 15% Adult Basic Education, 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students. Green River’s service areas are increasingly ethnically diverse, comprising African Americans, African immigrants, Asian Americans, Asians, Latinx, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Middle Eastern Americans, among other communities.

DEPARTMENT STATEMENT
The mission of the Green River College Nursing Department is to provide quality education to prepare students as safe, competent practitioners within our diverse healthcare community. Graduates of the Green River College Nursing Program will be qualified candidates for the successful completion of the NCLEX and prepared for advancement in continuing healthcare education. The department’s vision is to meaningfully contribute to the advancement of healthcare in a diverse community. The department has embedded following values in its curriculum: community engagement, diversity and inclusion, integrity, excellence, innovation, caring, and student success. We seek staff experienced in delivering supportive services for diverse populations and in communicating issues and concerns faced by racially minoritized students.
POSITION SUMMARY
Green River College is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, creative, dedicated, motivating, encouraging, and enthusiastic individual to fill our full-time program manager position in our Nursing Department. The successful candidate will have experience within the field of healthcare and with related employers. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, colleagues and industry and organization employers in a campus climate that promotes the Nursing Department.
The Nursing Department of Green River College (GRC) seeks candidates for the Program Manager position that are passionate about student success, and who are committed to the service and equity mission of community colleges. As an open-access institution, Green River is deeply dedicated to helping students from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds to achieve their educational goals. We seek candidates with the same dedication to our mission. This is a full-time, in-person position with a 12-month contract. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing.
