This is even more true in rural areas where access to this specialized type of patient care can support victims’ recovery from the traumatic experience of sexual assault in often under-resourced rural communities. it has selected 250 distinguished nurse leaders to be inducted into the 2022 Class of Fellows. The
inductees will be recognized for their significant contributions to health and health care at the
Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference, taking place on October 27-29, 2022 in Washington, DC. This year’s conference theme is “From Reflection to Impact: Positioning Nursing’s Future.”
The supplemental budget indicates that nursing education is a high priority in Washington state. The creation of additional student admissions to nursing programs underscores the need for the recruitment and retention of nursing faculty. …
